Ambrosius Smets Accessories - Ghent, Belgium.

Whilst I was in Ghent during July for the Hotel Jarretelle I met a charming accessories designer named Ambrosius Smets.
Not only did Ambrosius and I dance the night(s) away drinking champagne and being raucous, we also became firm friends. I did a photoshoot for Ambrosius' upcoming accessories range featuring his handmade handbags, brooches, and jewellery.
I absolutely am in awe of the results. Here they are:

Bizzare Magazine - Ella Guru

A few years ago I was painted by an extremely talented artist called Ella Guru. She painted me in two portraits, one a homage to Caravaggio, and the other a portrait of me in full burlesque attire.
Ella is featured in this month's Bizarre Magazine - a double spread dedicated to her!

The portrait she painted of me, is a featured piece in the article.

Ella has a solo exhibition in the London underground art's venue; The Resistance Gallery on September 8th 2011! (That's next week, folks!)
I'll post photos of the exhibition soon.

Anna Swiczeniuk

I've done another photoshoot with London based photographer, Anna Swiczeniuk.
I absolutely love the carney/circus vibe, I felt so at home!

Anna does a lot of work for Brick Lane based lingerie company 'Playful Promises' I was modelling their new collection in the photos posted below.
Here's their website: http://www.playfulpromises.com/

The photos were included in Playful Promises' online magazine, alongside an interview with me about my performances. You can read it here: http://issues.pageturninteractive.com/playfulpromises

Not only was I featured in the magazine, a very tasteful teaser video of our shoot, was filmed by Markabre Charade.

Hotel Jarretelle, Ghent II

Here's some more photos from Hotel Jarretelle.

Hotel Jarretelle, Ghent.

Last month I had the pleasure of being taken to Ghent, Belgium for Hotel Jarretelle. (A Burlesque variety show featuring; Pascal Patel, Foef, Lada Redstar, Brian Scott Bagley, Missy Fatale, Jill Mathieu and Juliana Joseph.)
The production was part of The Ghent Festival, one of Europe's largest street festivals, the festival ran for ten days, practically non-stop. I did twenty performances in ten days, of those eighteen were with fire.
I also did a fashion shoot for designer Ambrosius Smets, really looking forward to seeing the finished images.
Ghent is absolutely stunning, I fell in love with it, and the people I met there. So much fun was had!

I was interviewed on Belgium television about the festival, and my performances; You can see it HERE!

I performed a rejuvenated fire act, it still remains nameless, however, I have introduced more technically skilled fire stunts to it, and I hope to continue improving it.

And here are some photos from the stage and backstage; (Images by Patrice Hornez)

Here are a few shots from my fandance:

And, the misc/backstage photos. Most probably 'Not safe for work.'....
